Commercial Gas Engineer Jobs
I am working with a growing organisaiton with a healthy client base and due to further expansion they currently have opportunities for 4 x Commercial Gas Engineers to join the team to work on contracts South of the river, e.g. Surrey, South London, Kent borders.
The role of the Commercial Gas Engineer is to provide a variety of general maintenance and reactive services and corrective works on buildings, plant and site:
Perform testing and inspecting of mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards
Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated in order to provide maximum efficiency, availability and reliability carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections
Implement all mechanical maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with maintenance instructions and carry out minor new works installations and testing
Skills and experience of the Commercial Gas Engineer
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following gas qualifications
Candidates who have non-gas qualifications or experience such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC, in addition will be preferred. Oil and LPG qualifications/experience are also highly desirable
On offer is a permanent full-time role paying up to £43,000 per year + pension working during 8am to 5pm (Mon-Fri) with one hour for lunch and paid overtime – out of hours working, weekends and bank holidays. We also supply a company van, mobile phone, full uniform and specialist toolsOur client works with Central Government departments and sites, therefore the successful candidate will be required to pass a Home Office security vetting at the SC level.
