This is a new role on a recently acquired contract. The position is that of a static engineer, but covers a number of buildings across the Wharf.

As you would expect the role consist of a mix between reactive & PPM work and also potential to get involved in the small projects.

The site management are very forward thinking and are looking to move the system forward over the coming years, which should prove a challenging and exciting prospect and will need plenty of involvement from the engineer that is placed.

With this being a key area on the Wharf the workload at times can be quite demanding, but along with that comes lots of potential for quoting extra works and putting your own stamp on site, with improvements.

There’s some paperwork involved, with weekly reports & field quotes; and your line manager will require timesheets and other necessary weekly information (like expenses) which must be delivered in a timely manner.

What do I need?

Excellent communication skills are essential to maintain a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders including customer and external service providers.  It is expected you’ll display a professional manner and a dedication to meeting customer expectations, including delivering technical support, coaching and direction.

You’ll be working in an ever-changing environment and as such will be adaptable and flexible as there is a requirement to take part in a 24 hour on-call rota every six weeks.

The successful candidate will be highly experienced Cylon and preferably have some experience with Tridium (although, not essential)
